This class is for Lemon balm and lemon balm infused honey
In this class kids will learn one plant at a time - its benefits and uses. They will make an herbal product with this plant.
We will start this learning time with the visit to the garden where we will observe the plant. We will learn about the ways how to harvest them and how to identify. Kids will use all their senses to get to know the plant better. After visit to garden, we will head inside and make the page for our Materia Medica. That is the page about the plant we are learning. That will be valuable resource for kids to take home.
They will have other products they will be able to taste or see from the plant like iced tea or something similar. I will provide recipes for those who are interested. Kids may have some seeds or plant cuttings from the plant to take home as well.
This class will be 4-part class. You can sing up for all or just individual classes that you are interested in.

July 23rd Lemon balm and lemon balm infused honey
July30th Plantain leaf and plantain cough syrup
Cost: $25 per class or $80 for all classes. Parents are welcome to stay and learn with kids with no additional cost. Parents for little kids will need to stay and help kids to make their products.
