Join us as we celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th birthday! Jane Austen Festival will be the talk of all Meryton, and beyond. There will be workshops, teas, lectures, costume promenades, vendors, and we cannot forget the highly anticipated Ball! After many years being hosted in beautiful Locust Grove, near Louisville, Kentucky, we are excited to announce the Jane Austen Festival has found a new home here at Heritage Village Museum.

Festival Hours: June 28 from 10:30 a.m. -5 p.m., and June 29 from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Tea: June 28 & 29 at 1 p.m. Additional charge will apply. TEAS ARE SOLD OUT
Ball: June 28 at a private club in Clifton. Additional charge will apply.
Workshops: June 28 & 29, TBA after workshops/speakers have been selected. Additional charge will apply.
Welcome Reception: June 27 from 6-9 p.m. Additional charge will apply.
Ticketing Information
Sense & Sensibility – $30 per person ($50 value). Tickets purchased between Nov. 1, 2024 through February 28, 2025.
Includes: Saturday and Sunday General Admission and 1-hour early admission to Meryton Shoppes at 9:30 a.m.

VIP Tickets are $250 per person and include: General Admission on Saturday and Sunday, admission to the ball on Saturday, Jun. 28 at a private club in Clifton, swag bag, bag check, 1-hour early admission to Meryton Shoppes on both days, and access to the hospitality suite! All VIP tickets are now Sold Out.
Ball Information
The ball will be held at an esteemed private club in Clifton on June 28, 2025, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Costumes admired, but not required. All dances taught, no experience or partner necessary. Dance workshops will be available during the day at the Jane Austen Festival. Live music will be provided. Ample seating areas and gaming tables will be available for those who are less inclined to take to the floor in merriment. Tickets to the ball include specialty drinks, wine & beer, food, desserts, the game parlor, a raffle, and of course, music & dancing. The club has adequate parking for all guests.
Admission to the ball for non-members of HVM or JASNA is $135, and for members of HVM or JASNA is $115.
Tea Information – SOLD OUT
Afternoon Tea will be held on both June 28 and June 29 at 1 p.m. Enjoy afternoon tea with a delectable assortment of desserts and other sundries as we celebrate Jane’s Jubilee. The menu includes tea sandwiches, assorted scones & cream, macaroons, mini cupcakes, mini bundt cakes, and tea blends provided by Churchill’s Fine Teas.
Admission to the teas for non-members of HVM or JASNA is $50, and for members of HVM or JASNA is $40. Kindly note a general admission ticket to the Jane Austen Festival is required for the day of the afternoon tea.
Workshops
Applications have been turned in, and acceptance letters are going out. In February, we will post the workshops for pre-registration.
Hotels
There are many hotels in the area. We are working on negotiating group rates and other perks and will post that information on the Jane Austen Festival event webpage as soon as we work out the details.
