Construction Trades Hobby Class: Electrical Essentials

Curious about how electricity works and want to build practical skills you can use at home? In this hands-on Construction Trades hobby class, students will learn the basics of residential electrical work in a safe, guided environment. Participants will get an introduction to how electricity works, including a brief background and history of electrical systems, to better understand what’s happening behind the walls.

The class will focus on practical, real-world skills such as replacing outlets, switches, and ceiling fans. With step-by-step instruction, students will gain confidence using basic tools, learning proper techniques, and understanding safety best practices. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to build foundational electrical skills for DIY projects or general knowledge.

No prior experience is required, just a willingness to learn and get hands-on!
