Get splashed with color as you support a great cause! You'll run or walk through eight color stations on our one-mile course around Sun Path Elementary. The registration fee includes a white t-shirt with this year's race logo, refreshments and an opportunity to explore our exciting summer offerings. This is an untimed, non-competitive event that focuses on fun, fitness, and community. We encourage fun costumes, themes, and all kinds of silliness. Strollers are allowed, but please leave your pets at home.
All proceeds from this event fund financial assistance for Shakopee residents to participate in Community Education classes that promote academic, social, and personal growth.
*The color run draws inspiration from traditional color festivals like the Indian Holi festival, which celebrates the arrival of spring. In Holi, people throw colored powder at each other as a symbol of happiness and unity. The color run adopts this same spirit of fun, celebration, and togetherness, making it a perfect fit for family friendly events. *
Additional Event Features:
1/4-mile fun run for kids five and under. This portion of the event is free, and no registration is required.
Book exchange for children and adults. Bring your gently used books and exchange them for something new to you!
Registration Information & Deadlines:
May 22: Last day for "early-bird" $20 registration fee plus guaranteed t-shirt with registration
May 23: Registration fee increases to $25
June 6 at Noon: Last chance to register online
June 6: Early T-shirt pickup from Noon-4pm at Shakopee Public Schools District Office (1200 Town Square, Shakopee, MN 55379)
June 7: In-person registration and event check/in available from 8-8:45am at Sun Path Elementary
