Virtual Public Info Session: Panhandle Greenway Conservation Project III

OVERVIEW: Join Allegheny Land Trust to learn more about this phase of the Panhandle Greenway Conservation Project! During this virtual info session, ALT will introduce themselves, give a project summary and current status, and open the chat for questions. We hope you’ll join us and invite a neighbor.

SUMMARY | Allegheny Land Trust is working to conserve 30 acres of green space in Collier Township. The land is adjacent to Settlers Cabin Park and located within the rapidly-developing and flood-vulnerable Robinson Run Watershed.

BENEFITS | The land’s permanent conservation would benefit the health, well-being, and enjoyment of current and future community members by preserving biodiversity, air and water quality, and local scenic character as well as creating connections and protected opportunities for close-to-home passive recreation and environmental education.
