Ide Hill Society Meeting
Wednesday 16th July at 7.45pm in the Village Hall

The evening will commence with a brief AGM.

Following on a new Committee will be elected. The existing Chair (Paul Meredith) and Treasurer (Henry Gandon) are standing down after many years of dedicated service. There are also vacancies for other Committee members.

The evening will offer an opportunity (over drinks/nibbles) to explore ideas and suggestions for future events (talks/outings) that complement the existing activities of the Society – inputting on planning applications; maintaining our village archive; publishing the Ide Hill local history book and our members’ involvement with Stubbs Wood, both as volunteers and also as members of the Stubbs Wood Advisory Group (SWAG).

In addition, we maintain our website which includes statutory information pertaining to our village, and also we run a Facebook Group and Page.

The meeting will provide a chance for everyone to contribute and develop a programme for the Society’s future.
