Route: 46 miles | Otford to Faversham (Kent)
Classed as a hard ride due to some steep hills, and the distance (elevation 1,841 ft). Speed avg 11mph+. Our ride classification is explained in our general ride information on our website. A link to that is given below.
Meet at Otford train station for 09.30 am. Train options are:
09:12 Bromley South (arr 09:31 Otford)
08:37 Crofton Park (arr 09:18 Otford)
Via 08:40 Catford, 08:53 Bromley South
Intended stops are mile 16 at the Hop Pickers Rest (Yalding) for a lovely breakfast, and a café in historical Lenham (10 miles from the end) for a cuppa.
Once in Faversham riders can disperse or stay together to eat/drink (The Phoenix, Faversham), and be merry before getting the train home!
Trains depart '04 and '37 past the hour to Bromley South, to onward connect to trains to SE London.
Please make sure you bring spare inner tubes, snacks and weather appropriate clothing. Also ensure your bike is prepared. Sunset is at 19:50 pm in case you want to bring lights for your homeward journey.
