About the event

80th Anniversary VE Day Beacon lighting and free concert

Join us to mark the 80th Anniversary of VE Day on the Vine Gardens. There will be a fish and chip van on the Vine Gardens from 6.30pm for you to purchase this traditional British meal. Enjoy a free concert in the Bandstand from 6.30pm and then join the procession to the war memorial and beacon for a tribute ceremony and Beacon Lighting at 8.30pm.
