Allison Lupton
The sweetest songs come from the smallest birds, which describes Allison’s lovely voice and flute! She delivers wonderfully clear and expressive songs/tunes, steeped in history, love, sadness and joy. She’s an award-winning songwriter with four albums. Away tells the tale of the British Child Emigration Movement that in 80 years brought over 100,000 to Canada to work on farms. Get ready for Allison and her spirited band (including MB’s Daniel Koulack on bass) to carry us away to another time, and then dance us home again!
