As to what qualifies as an Art versus a Science, how one might submit an entry to an Arts & Sciences event in the SCA and why one might even want to do so - these are the things we are focusing on in January.
@karl.inn.irski will be visiting us again, weather permitting, to provide excellent insight as to what to expect from submitting an entry as well as how to set up teaching at events. Many, many thanks to Karl and the Barony of Dragon's Laire in general for the wonderful support as we grow as a tiny community!
The monthly business meeting will take place before the Social starts and will be available via Zoom as well for those who cannot attend in person. We are very much in planning stages for the upcoming Beltane event, so everyone is encouraged to attend the business portion as many hands make light work. And better events, so Lend a Hand, Thing!
Bringing some nibbles or beverage to share is very welcome, but not mandatory. There is interest in non-sweets as well as non-caffeinated beverages. Coffee, hot chocolate and tea will be available as always.
We will be gathering again in the common room at the office, ADA parking is nearest the office. All others, please park in the spaces that face away from the buildings.
Smoking areas are on the sidewalks on the outside of the parking areas, away from the buildings.
