Join us for a grief ritual where we honor the joy within our sorrow and discover the playful wisdom that lives alongside our deepest losses. This gathering is for anyone carrying grief—whether for a person, a dream, a way of life, or our collective wounds—and seeking to explore it through breath, community, and creative expression.
Together, we will co-create a space of gentle discovery through breathwork, meditation, and the transformative practice of putting our grief into verse. We'll let the air element guide us as we breathe life into our losses and find unexpected moments of whimsy within our pain.
Through imaginal practices and the alchemy of voice and verse, we will explore how playfulness can be a form of reverence, and how engaging our imagination can help us find new relationships with our losses.
This gathering will include:
- Grounding meditation and imaginal embodiment
- Air element teachings and breathwork practice
- Exploration of grief's playful and transformative nature
- Guided poetry writing accessible to all levels
- A sharing circle for those who wish to offer their poems to the air
- Time to connect and reflect under the open sky
Tears, laughter, curiosity, and quiet contemplation are all welcome. No writing experience or ritual background is needed—whether you're a seasoned poet or have never written a poem in your life, this space is for you. We'll work with gentle prompts and the simple magic of putting words to feeling.
All forms of grief will be honored here. Whatever grief you carry—whether personal, collective, or ancestral—it belongs in this circle.
