Since she was a child, Nira Raajan has dreamed of dazzling the world from the Hollywood stage. However, even though she is ready to leave Malaysia, her mother spirals into panic, her father walks a tightrope of diplomacy, and her nosy Aunt Filo completes the picture with her blustering and grumbling in between. As Nira reflects on the hurdles of local fame and global ambition, she is torn between the life she knows and the future she craves.
