Blaž Celarec (Brina, zasedbe Severe Gjurin, Chrisa Eckmana in Steva Wynna itd.), velja za enega naših najbolj iskanih bobnarjev in tolkalcev.

The traditional festival music workshops for children have been unconventional from the very beginning. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the discovery of the Neanderthal flute in Divje babe near Cerkno, and the equally significant 30th anniversary of the festival itself, this year the mentors and participants will bring together the knowledge gained from the past 15 years of workshops. Together, they will recreate the “ancient sounds of nature”, featuring a reconstruction of the Neanderthal flute, as well as the kabrca, a unique Slovenian Old Believer version of the ocarina shaped like a snake’s head and originating from the Tolmin region. To recreate the sounds of nature, participants will also seek out sound and percussion instruments in nature and integrate them into a rich and cohesive sonic landscape. Boštjan Gombač, a member of the band Katalena and a Prešeren Fund laureate, is renowned as one of Slovenia’s most versatile musicians, mastering a vast array of musical instruments, from wind and string instruments to various percussion. Blaž Celarec (Brina, bands led by Severa Gjurin, Chris Eckman and Steve Wynn, etc.) is one of Slovenia’s most sought-after drummers and percussionists. Petra Vidmar is a professor of percussion at the Academy of Music and a soloist in the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra.
