“Scott was recently diagnosed with (IIH) Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension, also know as
Pseudo-tumor Cerebri which translates to “false brain tumor” because the condition mimics
the symptoms of a brain tumor, such as headaches, vision problems but without an actual
tumor present.
These last 5 months have been hell on our family to put it lightly. Going from doctor to doctor,
multiple appointments, him being hospitalized 7 times, him being in pain constantly, sleepless
nights, tears we have cried together not knowing how to hold everything together and what the
future might hold, but we have prevailed! It couldn’t have been possible without the immense
love, prayers, guidance and help from our amazing family and friends and GOD!!
Scott surgery date is October 16th. If everyone could please keep him in your thoughts and
prayers for a smooth surgery and a healthy recovery we would greatly appreciate it.”
