Vultures Are Vital
The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to partner with the International Raptor and Falconry Center to present “Vultures Are Vital” at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6 at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

Celebrate International Vulture Awareness Day with Druantia, our young female Turkey Vulture and member of the IRFC Flying Team. Illegally taken from the wild as a nestling, Druantia is now permanently non-releasable and serves as an ambassador for her species.
Learn how vultures play a critical role in protecting ecosystems and public health by consuming carrion that could spread deadly diseases. From global population crashes to local threats, discover why vultures are the most endangered raptors and why protecting them is essential.
This is a unique opportunity to meet a vulture up close and learn the truth behind these intelligent, charismatic and misunderstood birds.
The event will benefit the International Raptor and Falconry Center.
“Vultures Are Vital” will take place at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $15, to benefit the International Raptor and Falconry Center.
