Welcome to SFCC! We’re excited to help you get started on your college journey. Orientation is your first step toward success—it’s where you’ll begin building connections, learning essential tools, and feeling confident as you start your classes.
Students who attend orientation are often more successful in their classes, and we encourage all new students to participate. Orientations are held on the Sedalia campus and every student is welcome!
At orientation, students will:
- Sign into SFCC technology
- Understand their rights & responsibilities as a student
- Participate in activities to meet other students
- Learn more about financial aid and scholarship processes
- Meet their navigator and other college contacts
- Learn more about Campus Store resources
Select the date and time on the right that works best for you to register.
Morning Sessions - Arrive between 8-8:30 a.m. to check-in and receive IT support. Morning sessions will start promptly at 8:30 AM and end by 12:30 p.m.
Afternoon Sessions - Arrive between 12:30-1 p.m. to check-in and receive IT support. Afternoon sessions will start promptly at 1 p.m. and end by 5 p.m.
Registration deadlines are 72 hours (3 days) prior to the orientation date. If you need to reschedule or cancel your registration, please contact Student Success.
Check-in at the Thompson Conference Center in the Heckart Science & Allied Health building. We look forward to seeing you!
