Join Artist-in-Residence Michele de la Menardiere for a unique, multisensory workshop that blends the art of wine tasting with the freedom of abstract painting. As you explore the evocative aromas, textures, and colors of a curated selection of wines, Michele will guide you in translating those sensory impressions into expressive works of art. Through creative prompts focusing on color, form, and gesture, you'll learn to visually capture what you taste and feel.
This joyful, hands-on experience is designed to awaken your senses, ignite your imagination, and offer a relaxing, inspiring space for playful self-expression.
No art or wine experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to have fun. All skill levels are warmly welcome.

About the Artist
Michele de la Menardiere is an abstract painter based in San Francisco, California. She has exhibited her work in national and international galleries and her paintings are part of notable corporate collections such as the DC Commission for the Arts and Humanities, Nokia, and the Ritz Carlton.
Michele’s art has also been acquired by the U.S. State Department’s Art in Embassies Program and exhibited in several public art projects including a large-scale installation at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Arlington, VA. Her paintings have been featured in prominent media outlets such as The Washington Post, on the set of KQED’s Check, Please! Bay Area, and in Sotheby’s residential projects. Michele is a graduate of Chelsea College of Art and Design in London, England.
