The Isotones

The Isotones are an organ trio out of Olympia, Wa. Their style blends prog rock with soul jazz, sprinkled with touches of international delicacies. Doors 7pm show time 7:30pm-9pm. No cover donations/ tips welcomed.

Formed in 2017, The Isotones have maintained an active presence in the Olympia music community. Christopher Alpert plays an original custom built Hammond B3, and adds various synth sounds to his compositions. Originally, a jazz pianist, he has branched into the world of soul funk and has taken a keen interest in playing bass on the organ. Ivan Gunderson is a reputable drummer and has played in bands such as Extra Measures and The Brown Edition. His style features elaborate polyrhythms with an upbeat progressive meter. David Minar is best known for his lead guitar roles in the Olympia hit wonder DBST. His addition of overdriven guitar brings an unique rock element not found in other organ trio.
