Tech Touchdown Field Trip

Play Like a Girl, the Seattle Seahawks, and Amazon Web Services are teaming up to bring Washington Middle School students an Inside Look at technology like no other. This special day is designed to spark curiosity, open doors to new career paths, and connect students with mentors who are changing the world through technology.

The adventure takes place at the AWS Skills Center, a dynamic hub built to help students and community members explore cloud computing and discover how innovation shapes everyday life. From robotics to space, gaming to smart home technology, the Cloud Discovery Space offers interactive exhibits that make STEM come alive in exciting, hands-on ways.

Here’s what’s in store:

• Kick things off with a fun icebreaker to meet new friends.
• Embark on a guided tour and scavenger hunt through the Cloud Discovery Space with a hands-on challenge.
• Gain insights during a Career Pathways Panel, where Amazon employees share their journeys and advice.
• Share laughs, food, and conversation during a Mentoring Lunch with coders and engineers—plus time for yard games.
• Dive into data during a Hands-On Workshop, learning how information powers technology.
• End the day together with a Group Photo and Wrap-Up Celebration.

This is more than a field trip—it’s a chance to see what’s possible when you bring curiosity, creativity, and confidence together.

All participants must be pre-registered and must complete the by October 17 to attend.
