For over 42 years Susan Rice has been making people laugh.

Rice trained and performed as a professional actress for nine years before

she found stand-up. Rice stepped on her first comedy stage in March 1983,

and by 1986, she moved to Los Angeles. Rice worked for many of the

major clubs in the country:

As she aged out of the comedy clubs Rice found she loved doing shows for

charity fundraisers and corporate shows. During the pandemic Susan

started planning the an outdoor comedy festival in her small area of St.

Johns in North Portland the summer of 2021and 2022 she produced the St

Johns Comedy Festival putting wonderful local talent back on stage after a

year of shut down.
