The KD Hall Foundation is hosting the Sickle Cell Resource Fair & Blood Drive. This full-day experience will bring together a diverse group of individuals—health professionals, mental health providers, policy leaders, researchers, educators, students, and community advocates.
The event is a movement toward greater equity and understanding in the treatment and support of those living with sickle cell disease. Attendees will engage in powerful conversations about emergency room protocols, trauma and chronic pain, gene therapy, and the lived experiences of youth and families. A blood drive, hosted in partnership with the American Red Cross, will run throughout the day, emphasizing the critical need for blood donations within this community.
Anchored by thought-provoking panels, a keynote by a leading advocate, and interactive experiences like live quizzes and a featured segment by Pfizer, the event invites attendees to learn, connect, and act. Guests can also enjoy vendor visits, a catered lunch, and a lively happy hour featuring music, food, and a 360° photo booth experience.
At its core, the Resource Fair & Blood Drive is a space for healing, advocacy, and empowerment. This is a celebration of resilience and a rallying call for better care and understanding of sickle cell disease.
