ABOUT THE FILM
Yim Soon-rye’s gentlest film transplants LITTLE FOREST, Daisuke Igarashi’s manga about slow living and natural cooking, to the Korean countryside.

When Hye-won fails her national exam to become a teacher, she returns to the rural home of her childhood to explore her roots away from the hustle and bustle of Seoul. An expertly crafted meditation on the healing power of nature and life’s simple pleasures.
