“My Journey Keeping Planted Tanks”
Seattle Pacific University - Otto Miller Hall; Room 109
Saturday, October 11th; Doors Open at 12:00 for set-up and social hour; Meeting begins at 1:00
Jen Dillon has been in the planted tank hobby for over 25 years. She's been an active volunteer in the AGA, attending seven of their conventions. Here at GSAS, she runs the Horticulture Awards Program and is a regular auctioneer. She's set up tanks commercially, worked in many aquarium retailers, done research and development for start-ups, moderated planted tank forums (JenThePlantGeek), and has recently built a garage fishroom where she runs her business, AquaTerra Workshops. Jen has set up and torn down countless aquariums, and made many mistakes along the way. Join her on her journey through keeping planted tanks - the joys, the sorrows, the dangers, and successes.
After the main presentation, stay for our second Monthly Auction of the season. Anyone can buy however only members may sell.
