Join Northwest Camera Co., Fujifilm, and Glazer’s Camera for an immersive, hands-on creative event at Harbor Island Studios. Spend the afternoon testing the GFX system in both video and still-photo shooting bays, connect with industry pros, and get a rare behind-the-scenes look at cinematic storytelling from working DPs.
Attendees can bounce between shooting stations, chat with Fujifilm tech reps and working DPs, and get hands-on time with gear normally reserved for set life. The space will feel like a hybrid between a demo, a film screening, and a creative hangout: thoughtful lighting, pro tools, great conversations, and plenty of inspiration.
You’ll explore the ETERNA profile in action, preview a trailer from Oren Soffer’s upcoming project, and take part in a lively roundtable Q&A hosted by NW Camera Co. and Fujifilm. Whether you’re a cinematographer, photographer, color science nerd, or simply curious—this is your chance to experience the GFX system from end to end of production at one of few ETERNA launch events happening worldwide.
2:30–3:00 PM — Doors open. Light refreshments + creative mingling.
3:00–5:30 PM — Hands-on demo of the Fujifilm GFX ecosystem and ETERNA profile. Shooting bays for video + stills.
6:00–7:00 PM — Trailer screening from Oren’s film (showcasing ETERNA’s cinematic color and dynamic range in real-world production).
7:00–7:30 PM — Q&A moderated by Dominic Barbero & Michael Bulbenko.
Oren Soffer is the cinematographer of 2023’s The Creator alongside Greig Fraser ASC ACS, and the upcoming Onslaught for director Adam Wingard and A24, as well as numerous other feature films that premiered at TIFF, TriBeCa, and other major film festivals. He was selected last year as one of Variety’s 10 Cinematographers To Watch. He has also shot multiple award-winning short films, as well as hundreds of commercials and music videos, including Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan. Most recently he also shot OKAY, the first short film shot on Fujifilm’s new GFX Eterna 55 cinema camera.
