Cross Stitch on Your Clothing
Ready to add a personal touch to your wardrobe? Join us at Monster for a fun event where you can learn how to cross stitch on your clothing! Whether you want to spruce up an old jacket or customize a new pair of jeans, this event is perfect for all skill levels. Don't miss out on this opportunity to unleash your creativity and make a fashion statement with your own hand-stitched creations!
In this class your instructor, Rosalie Gale, will teach you how to do basic cross stitch on your own clothing. Bring a couple of items that you would like to stitch on in class. You can plan your own design using graph paper, or you can choose from some adorable designs available to you at the class.
Thread, needles and waste canvas will be provided. If you have materials that you prefer to work with, please feel free to bring them.
This is the perfect way to embellish an already adorable piece of clothing - but it is also an excellent way to cover up a small hole or stain on one of your favorites.
This class will take place at Monster. Our address is 1716 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107. It's at the intersection of 17th and NW Market Street - kitty corner from Mighty-O Donuts.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins.
If you cannot attend class for any reason, we will offer an exchange to another class currently on our schedule up to 48 hours before the class. After that time, no refunds or exchanges are issued out of respect for our teachers who purchase and prepare supplies based on the number of attendees.
Our current Covid protocol is that anyone attending an event can email us at SW5mbyB8IG1vbnN0ZXJtb25zdGVyICEgc2hvcA== to let us know they prefer that people wear masks up to 72 hours before the event begins. Your request is anonymous to all the other participants.
Attendees will receive an email before the class to let them know If we will be requiring masks.
Rosalie Gale is most well known for co-inventing Shower Art: waterproof art to hang in your shower. She and her husband, Doug, own Ugly Baby & Monster and have been making a living creating really dumb art pieces for longer than anyone really expected.
