We’re thrilled to welcome back the legendary Richard Powers — for his 21st NW Dance weekend workshop! Since launching this series in 2000, Richard has inspired dancers with his creativity, deep knowledge, and infectious love of dance. After a seven-year hiatus (our last workshop with him was pre-pandemic!), he’s bringing a wealth of new material to share.

Over the weekend, you’ll explore:
• Several beautiful waltz styles — including rotary and cross-step
• How to effortlessly transition between different waltz forms
• Techniques for dancing to very fast waltz music
• Plus a few surprises!
• A partnered tango line dance
• Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Disco Hustle
• And more delightful moves to keep you inspired

• 10:30 AM–1:30 PM – Workshop continues
