Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day

Free community event. No Bike? No Problem!
Once again, the Community Bike Collective will be providing loaner bikes and helmets.

Fun for all kids from pre-school to high school, beginners to experts. Local high school riders from the Monterey Bay Lightfighters and Salinas High School Cowboys MTB teams will be leading trail rides and marshaling our popular kid-friendly obstacle courses.

The Kids Zone caters to beginners whether on balance bikes or pedal bikes, and the Adventures Zone invites kids to take it up a notch with some added challenges -- all within the safe confines of a closed area with plenty of marshals to cheer kids on and keep them upright.

Giveaways from local vendors add to the excitement and help make this our most popular event every year. Join in on the fun of this awesome Monterey County tradition!
