The one and only Prezident Brown takes the stage in Seaside, backed by the I-Sound Band, for a night of uplifting music, cultural unity, and community empowerment.

This special event is a benefit concert to support the Emanyatta Warrior Youth Program, a transformative leadership and cultural exchange initiative. Through this program, youth of African ancestry will journey to Ghana, Africa — connecting with their roots and returning home with a renewed sense of identity and purpose.

Prezident Brown has deep roots in Seaside — his own son is among the Emanyatta Warrior youth. This performance is personal, powerful, and part of a shared mission to uplift the next generation.

Born Fitz Cotterell in the Bullhead Mountains of Clarendon, Jamaica, Prezident Brown is one of reggae’s most respected and enduring voices. With over four decades of music rooted in Rastafarian spirituality, he blends conscious lyrics, spiritual conviction, and social commentary — using music as a tool for healing, truth-telling, and unity. Known affectionately as “Prez” and “Towerman,” his influential albums include To Jah Only, Common Prosperity, Journeyman Pilgrimage, and Roots Hop Reggae (In Your Box).

Prezident Brown’s music is not just a performance — it is his livity, a way of life guided by divine purpose. From Mental Gun Shot to Faith and Spirit of Contention, his music delivers messages of resistance, love, justice, and empowerment.
