Every year the Searchlight Betterment Organization works hard to promote the annual Searchlight Night Owl 100 races presented by the Bushwackers MC.

About The BushwackersMC:
The Bushwackers team was organized in 1999 when a group of friends got together and decided they wanted to form a
motorcycle club. In January of 2000 the Bushwackers became an official club under MRAN (Motorcycle Racing
Association of Nevada) and in September of 2000 the Bushwackers organized their first race, the Knucklebuster Hare
Scrambles in Pioche, Nevada. Since 2000 our club has put on a desert race (day) in Pioche, NV and a night race in
Searchlight, NV every year. In 2004 and 2019, the Bushwackers were awarded the honor of putting on “The Best Race of
the Year” award by MRAN. From 2001-2007 the Bushwackers were named the “Club of the Year.” The annual kids night race in Searchlight, NV has been a huge success and a lot of fun for the children and family.
July 18-19 is our night race. Held on the Doing family ranch, MX style jumps and turns highlight The Searchlight Night Owl 100 as a solo or team race. Kids race Friday and adults race Saturday. The short laps
and rider changes make for exciting racing in the fast washes of Searchlight.
Race Facts:
• The Bushwackers club consists of 76 members this season and at least half of them race MRAN.
• At each race there are generally an average of 100 adult riders and 65 children or young adult riders.
• On average there are at least 3 spectators per rider, which amount to at least 400 people per event.
