Long Beach: Stand for Unions and Veterans

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) ripped up the union contracts of more than 400,000 VA workers across the country last week as part of the biggest act of union-busting in American history.

America’s brave veterans and the dedicated union members who work at the VA are under attack. It’s time to stop the Trump administration’s assault on veterans’ health care and VA workers’ collective bargaining rights.

The AFL-CIO and our federal worker unions—including the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), the National Association of Government Employees (NAGE/SEIU), National Nurses United (NNU) and the National Federation of Federal Employees (NFFE-IAM)—are holding a Stand for Veterans, Stand for Unions event near you.
