What A Beautiful World: A Pops Concert with the Doug Smith Jazz Trio

An audience-favorite, Arcadia Chorale’s spring Pops Concert promises to delight and soothe your soul. We welcome back the talented Doug Smith Jazz Trio to accompany soloists and small groups, as well the entire Chorale, as we present timeless music focused on this beautiful world in which we live.

For one night only — Friday, May 16, 2025 at 8:00 PM in the Sawtelle Auditorium at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Scranton — allow us transport you with jazzed-up arrangements of songs, including favorites such as “April in Paris,” “Georgia on My Mind,” “Chatanooga Choo Choo,” and “I’ve Got the World on a String.” In addition to the Chorale’s numbers, small groups and soloists will perform with the Trio in this sophisticated yet relaxed evening of entertainment. Refreshments will be available for purchase during the concert, providing a cabaret atmosphere for your Friday evening.
