OSL is the comprised of several different shooting sports designed to let shooters enjoy IPSC/IDPA style courses of fire in whatever way they see fit, provided all safety protocols are followed.
Cost will be $15. Registration ends promptly at 5:15 pm at which time all shooters MUST be present for a league-specific safety brief. Shooters with questions may arrive early to sign up or simply to spectate. There is NO CHARGE to join us and spectate.
Whether you're looking to get some good practice from a concealed carry standpoint, drawing while defeating a cover garment, utilizing cover, etc. or simply want some good competitive practice to see how fast you can go, OSL has something for you!
We will run three or more stages. Each course of fire will often be comprised of multiple targets unless otherwise specified. This allows revolvers to be utilized, while shooters using semi-autos will load magazines in a manner to force a reload.
*Pistol Caliber Carbines are always welcome provided you arrive with them in a bag and a chamber flag in place.
UPDATE: We will start introducing twilight stages (low light). However, it will not be mandatory to shoot in low light conditions.
*Shooters who do not feel comfortable, or run an Open style setup and do not wish to shoot in lowlight will be set in an open division.
RECOMMEND:
- A Weapon Mounted Light and or A handheld flashlight 300+lumens.
- A quality light bearing holster is recommended but not required, if you wish to run stages in low light/no light you may run off of the barrel or designated starting point.
SHOOTERS MUST HAVE
- Eye and Ear protection.
- 100 rounds of ammo or less is needed. Arriving with 2 full boxes of 50 rounds is recommended.
