Blood drives have a special place in our history. The Junior League of Scranton has a long history with the American Red Cross dating back to the League’s founder, Margaret L. Richards. “Peg,” as she was affectionately known, volunteered as an ambulance driver for the American Red Cross during World War I, organizing the Motor Corps of the Scranton Red Cross chapter. Because of Peg, the League was committed for many years to hosting blood drives, a tradition that continues today.
All presenting donors will receive a $10 gift card by email and a Halloween T-shirt (while supplies last).
