Raise a Glass to Spring (and to Mom!) with Wine-Centric Events at LDV Winery Tasting Room this MAY

Spring is in full swing and it’s time to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather before it slips away! This May the LDV Tasting Room presents multiple activities to allow wine lovers to sip socialize and take in all things spring! Here are some fun happenings scheduled this month:

Share and Pair Sundays

Sundays through May 25 | All day

Raise a glass to beautiful weather a welcoming environment wonderful wine excellent food and even better company during Share and Pair Sundays which bring wine enthusiasts together through social connectivity. These casual gatherings feature wine specials each Sunday; a special wine and appetizer pairing will be available on May 4 (ASU Sun Devil Alumni Sunday) and May 25 (National Wine Day).

ASU Sun Devil Alumni Sundays

Sunday May 4 | All day

ASU Sun Devil Alumni Sundays invites ASU alums to come together to celebrate Sun Devil sports! This monthly event helps ASU activate the valley throughout baseball season and beyond. Guests who wear ASU Sun Devil merch or colors (maroon and gold) will receive special discounts.

Wine and Cheese Pairing Course

Thursday May 8 | 6 p.m.

LDV Winery Co-founder Peggy Fiandaca leads this course which guides guests through pairings of wine with California cheeses focusing on the art of taste. The cost is $45++ per person including four wine and two gourmet cheese tastings.

Winemaker Saturday

Saturday May 10 | 10 a.m.-noon

Winemaker and LDV Winery Co-founder Curt Dunham leads this engaging wine-tasting experience and discussion. This month’s theme is Blind Wine Tasting with Curt. Admission is free for wine club members and $20 for non-members which includes sips and nibbles.

Rosé All Day Mother’s Day Special

Sunday May 11 | All Day

Mom’s favorite flower isn’t a rose—it’s rosé! On Mother’s Day don’t send Mom flowers send her to the LDV Winery Tasting Room where glasses of rosé are just $9 each all day long. Chocolate-covered strawberries will also be available for $4 each.

Charcuterie Making Courses

Tuesday May 13 and Tuesday May 27 | 6-7:30 p.m.

This informal and interactive class led by the She Shed Chef Liza Noriega gives guests the tools and guidance to create their own personal charcuterie board which can be enjoyed at the Tasting Room or taken home. The cost is $60++ per person including charcuterie ingredients tutorial and a glass of LDV wine.

Of course there is no need to wait for an event to stop into the LDV Winery Tasting Room—no reservations needed! After all any day is a good day for a glass of LDV wine!
