Shibori-style Silk Scarf Dyeing Workshop with Sally Ziegler. Participants will explore the art of dyeing and the Japanese resist technique of Shibori to create patterns on silk scarves. This includes the opportunity to design two silk scarves using one or more resist techniques demonstrated. Participants will prep their scarves, dye with one or more colors, rinse, and set. After waiting a few hours at home, rinse then open up to reveal the beautiful patterns, and hang to dry. These one-of-a-kind creations will add an artistic touch to any outfit, or make great gifts!
