Tournament matches will follow the 4th ed General's Handbook
2 hour 50 minute rounds. 10 minutes shared set up. 1 hour 20 minutes per player for time.
Event Breakdown
Registration starts at 9:00am
Round 1: 9:30AM-12:20PM
Lunch: 12:20PM-1:00PM
Round 2: 1:00PM-3:50PM
Round 3: 4:00PM-6:50PM
Announcements and prizes: 7:00 PM
Rounds will have a 15 minute buffer for games that go long. However players must finish and report by the end of the 15 minutes.
PRIZES:
All entries go to a random drawing. After round 3 is started we will draw N/2 names where N is the number of players that entered, rounded up. Each name drawn would get store credit equal to twice the entry fee; but you can not win if you dropped before round 3.
TROPHIES:
• Trophies will be given for Best Overall, Best General, Favorite Army, and Favored Enemy
• Best Overall – Awarded to the player with the Best overall Record as outlined below under Ranking.
• Best General – Awarded to the player with the highest victory points(If best overall has the highest victory points, it will go to second highest victory points)
• Favorite Army – Awarded to the player with the most Favorite Army votes.
• Preferred Enemy – Awarded to the player with the most favorite player votes.
• A player can only win one award.
• Any ties will be broken by overall Victory points.
PAIRINGS:
■ First – by record (i.e. the number of wins, losses and draws)
■ Second – by win path (i.e. the timing of the rounds in which a player
won or lost their games)
■ Third – randomly within players of the same ranking
RANKINGS:
First – by overall record (wins, losses and draws)
■ Second – by their opponents’ win records (i.e. those with more wins
against opponents with better win records would place higher)
■ Third – by total Victory points (VP)
RANKED TABLES: Tables will not be ranked. This to avoid players playing on the same table repeatedly.
Terrain: Terrain will be placed near each table setup. Players set up terrain based on the mission and deployment rules.
