GARRETT - CONFIRMED MISSION - US AIR FORCE RETIRED / VIETNAM WAR
US AIR FORCE RETIRED VETERAN – VIETNAM WAR

The family of Mr. Roger M Garrett, a US Air Force Veteran, requests the presence and participation of the San Antonio Patriot Guard at the services, and the LEO supported procession, and graveside rendering of military honors of their loved one. We are honored to accept this invitation.
Roger Michael Garrett, aged 79, of Cibolo, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 20, 2025, and joined his parents, Harlan Clair Garrett, and Margie (née Buskohl) Garrett, in heaven.
A devoted father and grandfather, Roger cherished watching classical Western movies, reading Louis L’Amour Western novels, classic cars, and spending quality time with his beloved grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; his brother, Richard; his children, Harlan Donald, Roger (Mike), Margie (Maggie), and Miguel; and his grandchildren, Brooke, Lily, Bradley, Harlan Edward, and W. Matthew.
Born on July 10, 1945, in Rockford, Illinois, to Harlan Clair Garrett and Margie (née Buskohl) Garrett. Roger spent many years in Leaf River, Illinois.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force, retiring honorably as a Master Sergeant, after more than 21 years of dedicated service. During his military career, Roger earned numerous awards, including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Three Service Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, United States Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor Device and Leaf Clusters, and the United States Air Force Commendation Medal with Two Oak Leaf Clusters.
