Screen Printing: 101 - Schenectady

Come learn the fundamentals of creating screen prints through the photo emulsion process. Participants will learn how to prepare screens, burn images, and apply their designs onto T-Shirts or tote bags. Each student will have the option to produce either a one-color piece or a two-color composition using the positive and negative of their image to explore layering and contrast. By the end of the session, students will gain a solid understanding of the process from concept to finish. Each participant will be provided one canvas tote bag to print on, and you are welcome to bring a t-shirt or other fabric to print on as well.

Option to create a 2-color design.
