About the event

9th Annual Hon. Karen B. Johnson Family Fun Day
Steinmetz Park will once again be bursting with activities during the 9th Annual Hon. Karen B. Johnson Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from noon to 3:00 PM.

The free event at 2114 Lenox Road in the City of Schenectady’s Goose Hill neighborhood will feature food, music, giveaways, recreational games, pony rides, arts and crafts, face painting, and a variety of other family-friendly activities. Over 30 community groups will be on hand to provide information and resources, including the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Children’s ID Department, Electric City Bike Repair, Schenectady County Public Library, and the City of Schenectady Police and Fire Departments. Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult.
