Create A Space NOW is an interactive social justice platform, creating art to combat bias, racism, and systemic oppression. We believe that art is a powerful tool, and we're committed to creating space for art to inspire change, educate, and activate.

SEEKING PRESENTERS

We're seeking submissions from artists, educators, community members, and organizations interested in participating. Presentations or projects should run 30 to 40 minutes and may include performances, workshops, panels, research presentations, curriculum design, or guided discussions. We encourage proposals exploring physical theater, dance, improvisation, poetry, sculpture, video, film, and other creative disciplines within social justice.

Founded by acclaimed filmmaker, director, choreographer, and educator Hettie Barnhill, our mission focuses on the intersection of art and activism. We center artists from underrepresented backgrounds, provide DEI training sessions, and host community workshops in various artistic disciplines.
