Once again, its time for THK America Inc and Pulse Technology's Annual Blood Drive!
On February 3, 2023 William got hit with a double whammy - diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and dealing with Sarcoidosis- because apparently his immune system wanted to make things extra interesting!
Since then, he's powered through 20 units of blood and 15 units of platelets (basically, he's part Vampire at this point).
In January 2025, he underwent a stem cell transplant that we hoped would do the trick. It didn't - but William doesn't quit.
So, on June 9th, chemo kicked off again with one goal: get him into remission (or as close as possible) to prep for a bone marrow transplant. Luckily, his sister Nicole is a match - because what are siblings for if not giving you literal parts of their body? And if she can do it (with full-blown white coat syndrome, mind you) You can do it too!
