History of Jazz dances: practical aspects for Lindy Hoppers with Olga - May&June 2025

We keep saying that history of Lindy Hop and Jazz dances is important for us. But what exactly is important? What do we really need to know of all facts? Are there facts at all, or just legends and stories?
If you ever asked yourself why we clap on 2, what is Back Step for, why Boogie Back we start on 8, and yet Boogie Drop is on 1 (why, oh why?), it is time to find answers.

We will take it slow. Every decade of ** century has something important for our understanding of the dance.
We will do both solo and couple dances. No way we can dance without both of them
We will count and we will not, depends on... You'll see ;)
