THE TINES - indie-rock (US)
The Tines are a New England based outfit helmed by songwriter and producer S.G. Carlson. The band formed as a recording project in late 2019, playing cleverly crafted indie rock that focuses on the balance of tension and beauty.
The Tines released their first E.P., The Enemy Is Listening (Free As Birds Records) in 2020, and began to perform live in 2021. They have since appeared at the New Haven Arts and Ideas Festival, The Thing In Spring, and Limb Snapping, and played with artists like Daniel Romano, The Huntress and Holder of Hands, Lee Ronaldo, Improvement Movement, and The Futurebirds. As a solo artist, S.G. Carlson has appeared with the likes of Andy Shauf, Michael Nau, Erin Durant, and Shaun Rowe.

FONDRY - improvised rock (BE)
Fondry is an improvised music group blending pop, post-punk, and jazz influences. It was born from the meeting of Diego Leyder (BRNS, Dièze, Namdose), Nicholas Yates (Thomas Champagne Trio, Samir Barris, One Horse Land...) and Romain Benard (Ropoporose, Primevère, Paradoxant, Milk TV, Namdose...), united by a shared desire to create music rooted in the present moment. The project’s aesthetic draws comparisons to bands like Dirty Three, Gang of Four, Television, and Chicago Underground Quartet. Navigating multiple paths and musical languages, the trio’s sessions and performances result from the merging of each musician’s free-spirited impulses. Complementarity, energy, and spontaneity are the cornerstones of these encounters, which are by nature unique, fiercely improvised, and at once uninhibited and welcoming.
