☇ Rudi J (@weird.dust) is the latest alias of one of Brussels’ underground leading figures. Not unlike Rudi J’s other formations, the music is increasingly deceptively simple; drum patterns that seem straightforward reveal themselves as long-building polymetric rhythms, deep bass lines that thrust forward, only to droop backwards again. Looming sun-drenched oscillations are outlined, dancehall permutations and digi-dub jams fly by. Above all, it is music that gives: one to keep on discovering and get lost in.

He'll be serving up a whole host of surprises, a mix of sounds and a whole load of whipped-up bass. What's he into right now? Big Slavic sounds and angry batidas.

Mathilde (@xanass_ass) is a transdisciplinary architect, scenographer and DJ. Under her alias XANASS, she creates metamorphic soundscapes that oscillate between the ephemeral vitality of dancefloors and the tranquillity of moments of listening and storytelling.
She develops a versatile musical identity, where genres meet and merge. Her sets are percussive and marked by rolling bass, sharp rhythms and lively, swarming textures.
She can be heard once a quarter on LYL radio, with her show that invites you to ‘Au pays des monstres’ (The Land of Monsters). As a member of the Radio Vacarme organising team, she takes on the electronic scene with a committed and militant vision, aiming to make it a more inclusive environment.
