Jon Taylor : Scarborough Jazz at The Spa pub

Welcome to the first gig in our new venue – The Spa pub on Victoria Road, Scarborough.

On May 21st Scarborough we welcome back vocalist/flautist/saxophonist Jon Taylor. Jon regularly packs the house with his mellow, gritty vocals, relaxed tenor sax playing and expressive fluting (is that a word?). His material is drawn from an extensive repertoire, initially honed from busking, of over a thousand songs - the great American songbook, jazz classics, blues, Latin, some lesser known and even some originals.

Whatever Jon plays you are guaranteed an evening of interesting, joyful, occasionally surprising, accessible jazz, ably abetted by our house trio, the MG3.

Doors 7.45. Music 8.15. Minimum donation £5. Students/under 18s half price.
