Hop on board for an unforgettable family adventure this May half term at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. From hands-on activities and creative play to exciting bird encounters, there's something to keep every little explorer entertained all week long. Highlights include Brickin' It Workshops (24–25 May), where kids can join Railway 200 or Mini Engineer LEGO workshops and tackle inventive building challenges - booking required.

On Art Day (26 May), drop in from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm to craft a railway-inspired masterpiece and enter the Railway 200 Writing & Art Competition. Little ones can unleash their imagination at Train Time Stay & Play sessions (27–28 May), while bird lovers won’t want to miss the Birds of Prey display by Whitby Falconers on 31 May at Pickering Station. Finally, take part in the Railway 200 Spring Trail, celebrating two centuries of railway history with creativity and family-friendly fun.
