Filey Kite Festival is back for 2025!
The free festival will take place at Filey Brigg Country Park on Saturday 20 September and Sunday 21 September, between 10am and 4pm.
Once again, we’ve partnered with Filey Food and Drink Festival, so you might see some familiar faces.
The festival is expected to attract dozens of the UK’s best kite flyers, displaying a wide variety of weird and wonderful kites over the Yorkshire coast skies. The weekend’s events will be hosted and commentated on by the Northern Kite Group (NKG).
New for this year is a ‘learn to fly’ zone – bring your own kite to receive expert advice and guidance.
There will also be children’s fairground rides, and refreshments will be available from the traders and the Country Park Café.
So, grab your picnic blanket and head over to Filey Brigg Country Park for two days of spectacular kite displays!

Parking is available at Filey Country Park; charges will apply.
