Community Mosaic at The Street - learn how and BE a part :) :)
Our community mosaic is set to be a new landmark for Scarborough, as well as to be completed and installed in the summer of 2025.
You will be guided to cut & use coloured glass in the 'Indirect method' to create your part of this major piece of work, by professional mosaic artist, with over 20 years experience in the field of community & public art, Gabrielle Naptali.
PLEASE NOTE THE INFORMATION BELOW - as FB limits the number of times & dates we can show.
Workshops are EVERY Monday & EVERY Wednesday til the end of August (subject to minor amendments - info as & when).
***Workshops are: Monday daytimes from 1.00 - 4.00pm &
***Wednesday evenings from 6.00 - 8.00pm***
Mosaicing is a calming, focused, enjoyable & beautiful activity, often described as "therapeutic, relaxing & wonderful" by my participants. Make a little room in your busy life for two, or even five, colourful hours to chill your week!
The project is funded by The Big Lottery and is Free to participants, the project is fund-raised by GROW Scarborough!
