2nd ELO Cubs Pinewood Derby and Summer Fayre

READY, SET, RACE ! 🏁🏎️🏁

2nd ELO Cubs are excited to host our upcoming Pinewood Derby and Summer Fayre.
Held On Sunday 1st June at our Scout Hut HQ 11am to 3pm.

As part of our Cub Packs international pen pal project with 199 Denver Cub pack in USA. 🇺🇸
We are going to be celebrating America’s favourite Scout tradition - the Pinewood Derby. 🏎️
Children design their mini cars then go head to head and race the Derby Cars at a special Summer festival - for the chance to win medals and trophies galore ! 🏆🏅

Outside we will also be hosting a summer fayre, where you can also enjoy various fun stalls, games, crafts, plant stalls, cake sales, tombolas and raffles. (All supported, made and donated by our young people and their families.)
Snack on a traditional American Hot Dog 🌭
and ice cream ! 🍦

You don’t want to miss it - and it’s open to ALL THE PUBLIC.
So bring along any family, friends and neighbours. There’s fun for everyone! 🥳
