Join us at the Really Really Free Market - a flea market where everything is free!
All community members are welcome to join, whether you have items to give or just want to shop.
~~What to expect at the Really Really Free Market (RRFM)~~
Community members with household abundance - clothes, books, food, games, toys, tools, toiletries, etc - can come and set up a market spot along the walkways in Heritage Park, behind the library. Bring a blanket, table, or tarp to lay out your items.
Community members with services to offer - "how to" demonstrations, kid's activities, clothes mending, bike repair, music or dance performance, etc - are also encouraged to set up a spot along the walkways. Bring whatever you need to provide your service activitiy.
Community members who want to take things home can stroll along the walkways, browse through, and take home what they want or need. Bring a bag or box to take home your items.
~~Parking and accessibility~~
Street parking is available on 1st street, along the railroad track, with a paved entrance to the park in front of the Watts House, and also in the local neighborhoods. Some streets around the market area will be closed for the Scappoose Farmer's Market, which runs on 2nd Street in front of the library.
Folks offering items and services are encouraged to set up along the walkways to allow their displays to be accessible for those with mobility aids and strollers. The pathways are paved.
Wearing face masks is highly enouraged, but not required, to protect each other and especially immunocompromised community members. Masks will be available in the gazebo (accessible by 2 steps on one side and a sloped ramp on the other).
This is an outdoor park with limited shade options. Please send this account a message if you need a shade spot reserved for you for accessiblity.
